Although acupuncture point Large Intestine 4 is contraindicated during pregnancy, it is such a strong powerful acupuncture point when it comes to relieving pain!
It’s a great acupuncture point for headaches but also any pain anywhere in the body as it moves blood. And it’s best combined with acupuncture point Liver 3 which moves Qi. Li 4 & LV 3 are called the 4 gates because they allow for better flow of Qi & Blood as we needle them the gates open🥰
Li 4 is the commander point of the face making it a great point for jaw pain, sinus issues, eye or mouth problems. It’s the Yuan source point of the large Intestine, making it a great acupuncture point to be part of a protocol for bowel disorders 🙏
