Acupuncture myths versus facts #acupuncture

This video we bring you about acupuncture to you so you can watch and also have access to related topics and items, all in one place. You can learn and keep learning without distraction.

After 20 years of practice, these are the common myths or misconceptions about acupuncture I’ve heard the most:

* it is ONLY for treating pain! ➡️ While it is very effective for pain management, it can also be used for a wide range of conditions such as infertility, chronic constipation, asthma, anxiety, depression and so much more!

* it’s SO painful! ➡️ This is a big one! Even though acupuncture needles are hair thin and sterile, and are NOT painful.

* it is based on ancient superstition, it’s woowoo stuff!!! ➡️ hahaha 🤣 this is SO last millennium! I love that we have so much scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of acupuncture, and the internet gave us access to it!

* it is not safe! ➡️ As you know, as licensed acupuncturists, we have to abide by so many clean needle techniques and safety protocols, acupuncture is natural, effective and safe (which is not the case for many treatments options!)
