Third generation Shang Xing Yi Quan teacher Li Wen Jun demonstrates Ying Zhou (“Eagle Catching”), followed by Pi and Zuan (The first & second of the five elements)
**Just to clarify, the key differences with this style of Pi Quan is that it’s practiced with a closed fist. However, the very first set in this video is called “Eagle Catching”, which resembles Pi Quan from most other XY styles as it’s practiced with an open hand. “Eagle Catching” is commonly practiced first, before moving onto the five elements (Wu Xing).
