Taiji Quan Principles in Western Competitive & Combative Boxing

neijiaquan

This video we bring you about neijiaquan to you so you can watch and also have access to related topics and items, all in one place. You can learn and keep learning without distraction.

This video shows what I have been learning for the last 5 months together in acesthetic concept and combative application. It has all the principles of Neijia Quan presented in a Western Pugilistic format. It is my version of the Supreme Ultimate Fist.

Western Combative Boxing, when performed at the highest levels, is the greatest contemporary example of applied Neijia Quan or Internal Boxing. The professionals I am sparring are decades younger than myself. Vedic and Taoist, Stilling and Moving alchemy is how I derive the energies to perform at their level.

You have heard this from me before: The way you Shadowbox is the way you fight. Sparring is not fighting. Dancing is not fighting. They are steps in perfecting performance when one fights. It has taken me five months to create a shadowboxing routine that is relective of the applied training I have learned. Being able to create such a thing connects traditional principle and conventional wisdom into a pragmatic performance of Martial Science and Energetic Medicine.

For those following my journey this is how it has always been done. I include in that statement the stuff I left out. Inanyan Escrima is the perfect compliment to perfect my combative system. I bring to the lessons personal insights that have led me to believe this to be absolutely true. Root, Swallow/Spit, Coiling, Health… It is all there as a part of the ritual training. Although I discuss merit I will not discuss method.
