We begin showing each of the Five Elements slowly and then we perform each faster.

Then we practice the Xing Yi Quan Five element Two Person form.

Slowly is excellent for health and building inner strength, or Qi.

Fast is good for fighting and striking hard.

The Five Element Sparring Form builds skill in using the Five Element Fists of Xing Yi Quan.

Because Xing Yi Quan does not emphasize high kicks, leaps and stretching anyone can learn it. People profoundly improve their health by practicing this art. It is more vigorous and immediately martial than Tai Chi. Yet it is also at least as healthy for you as Tai Chi.
