Real MARTIAL ARTS DAO (sword) power style by chinese Master. Free SHAOLIN KUNG FU site:
Chinese martial arts styles are generally classified into two major groups: Shaolin and Wudang (Wutang). Shaolin quan (少林拳) translates as “Shaolin fist” and Wudang quan (武当拳) translates as “Wudang fist”.
Shaolin Kung Fu builds moral character, promotes excellent circulation, strengthens the body, creates the limbs coordination, increases agility of the mind and the body, and trains martial arts skills to such a degree that victories can be gained in all forms of conflicts. Whereas Shaolin includes many martial art styles, Wudang quan includes only a few arts that utilize the focused mind to control the waist, and therefore the body; this typically encompasses Tai Ji, Xing-Yi and Bagua zhang, but must also include Baji quan and Wudang Sword.
In combat patience leads to victory. Prepare properly in order to observe the enemy closely. Before attacking you must know what you will sacrifice and what you will achieve. A skill full master knows when, where and how to use the softness, firmness, weakness and power. The mind and the body must be perfectly coordinated.
These days in modern Martial Arts we see that the student will practise general basics and then will devote himself to one boxing and weapon style. Different fist and weapon fighting skills display different characteristics. According to the form of routines, Kung Fu can be classified into several major catagories including solo practice, group practice, sparring and duet with weapons, exercises for building inner strengths and forces, etc. In this video you will see a martial arts dao form performed by master Liu.
