Dr. Yancy Orchard demonstrates a small variety of concepts used in Jiulong Baguazhang to neutralize kicking attacks.
This demonstration was at the 2008 Saskatoon Traditional Martial Arts Friendship Demonstration hosted by Shizi Orchard’s Wu Guan, Saskatoon Traditional Kung Fu. In attendance were practitioners from several martial schools: Saskatoon Aikikai, Commando Krav Maga Saskatoon, Pekiti Tirsia Saskatoon, Saskatoon Flying Tiger Hapkido Studio, Three Treasures Yang Taiji Saskatoon, and Saskatoon Parkour.
Dr. Yancy Orchard has trained in Dr. John Painter’s Jiulong Baguazhang for 15 years and has taught this rare art at the Xin Fu Gompa in Saskatoon, SK for more than 5 years.
