In this episode we have some discussion about sticking and releasing. These are some basic Xing Yi concepts similar to push hands or rolling hands and similar to the Yi Quan method of pushing hands.

These skills are important where your opponent is trying to prevent you from striking by grabbing/grappling or smothering your strikes.

These drills can begin slowly and with contact but can be expanded to become quicker and beginning from distance. We demonstrate how to get started in this kind of situation.
