So after being very impressed with the telescopic jian sword, which I really thought was just a toy! I decided to upgrade to the more expensive model. Largely I suspected that these swords were not going to be worth the money so I didn’t want to spend too much on the first one. But I’ve been happily surprised.
Here I offer my thoughts on the first sword after a couple weeks of use, and offer a side by side comparison with the higher end model available on Aliexpress and Amazon (links below).
I do think that the more expensive model is a better buy, but further field testing is required!
