This is a great Qigong routine to practice every day, especially if you are a beginner (although I still find myself returning to this set constantly, as I just find so much power in its simplicity). I recommend trying doing this set every day for a week or two and notice how the movements become effortless as your sensation of “chi” increases.
We start this exercise routine with a few Tao Yin (Daoyin) stretches, that might remind you of gentle yoga done standing. Then we progress to our five flowing Tai Chi – like movements that each mimic a different element of nature in order to harmonize our inner energy with nature in a very mindful and meditative way.
